About

Per started his exploratory academic journey at Gothenburg School of EconomicsHochschule St.GallenEsade and Stockholm School of Journalism. Once fulfilled with lofty professional goals and a burning desire of future fortune he joined the media and Internet startup community in Stockholm, more precisely at the hotbeds and stardom incubators at Universum Communications and Icon Medialab. This lead to several visits to Silicon Valley and a summer at an executive retreat at Stanford University. The stars were within reach.

But the world did not seem enough despite frolicking with who’s who in Stockholm’s emerging tech world and when Yahoo! called for a product management gig at their newly opened European office in London in the end of the roaring 90s, our young adventurer had to follow his instinct and join this arrogant Internet darling.

Yahoo! became his professional home for almost seven years, which he spent traveling across the world starting and growing the media and communications products in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia. During his time at Yahoo! he won the European Superstar Award and was nominated for the Global Superstar Award several years in a row.

Needless to say, seven years working for one of the fastest growing companies in history and constantly being on the road finally caught up and it was time for a mini-retirement. This joyful and well-earned sabbatical was spent with his young bride in Argentina, feeding his culinary ambitions and interest as much as his need for sleep and independent thought.

Next calling was a small Internet publishing start-up in the midst of the Financial District in downtown San Francisco. Blurb.com offered head of product development and the race was on for innovation, growth and good times. During this time Per won the Webby Awards as well as forged strategic partnerships with Flickr and Google.

In 2008 he ventured out on his own to train start-ups in how to succeed with zero resources but lots of energy and passion and executives in all the change [and pain] the Internet brings along. He has also joined the digital university Hyper Island’s master programs as a guest speaker for ad executives across the world.

He resides with his Investment Banking wife and young son in a highly overrated San Francisco neighborhood with a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate Bridge. When not traveling the world or cooking organic dinners for the local digerati he enjoys tennis, long-boarding and paper books.
