Shroom, Tomato & Onion Tart (3-4 people : takes 2hrs) #wcwed
- 125 gr plain flour
- 65 gr unsalted butter
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 egg yolk
- 25-50ml cold whole milk
- 8-10 mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- Pepper
- Sea salt
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 dl heavy cream
- Grated cheese
- Make the pastry by mixing flour, salt and butter, then add yolk and milk. Let rest for 30 minutes.
- Roll out pastry, add to 8-inch tart pan and cook in oven for 20 minutes at 70 C. Use pie beans on string and poke whole in botten with fork.
- Make the custard using one egg, one egg yolk, 1 dl heavy cream and some grated cheese. Season with pepper and salt.
- Saute onions, then add mushrooms and finally the tomato.
- Add the sauteed mix into the tart pan and pour the custardy over. Cook in oven at 175-200 C for 30-40 minutes.
- Serve with green side salad and a glass of red wine.
