Fresh Homemade Swiss Müesli (8 people : takes 5-minutes) #wcwed @Rikard_Nilsson
This is an insanely easy, fast and nutritious breakfast treat that I eat almost everyday and make from scratch the night before. It last for a few days in the fridge and is crunchy, tasty and real.
- 1 Apple
- 1 Cup Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
- 3 Cups Rolled Oats
- 1/2 Cup Raisins (other dried fruits works as well)
Grate the apple. Pour in the squeezed orange juice. Mix. The orange juice protects the apple from turning brown as well as soaking the oats. Add the rolled oats and the raisins. Mix. Let rest overnight.
Add the müesli to a bowl of whole milk yoghurt and top off with some homemade strawberry jam (picture) or a dollop of honey. Delish!
