We are heading towards a new brave world. A world that will challenge our daily assumptions and truths. We have all heard that the market will always outperform bonds or CDs, and that real estate always appreciates over time - no matter what.

Well, the above graph shows that CSs outperformed stocks over the past 15 years. And if that wasn’t enough, bonds actually outperformed stocks over the past 40 years.

Things aren’t always what they seem, what we like them to be or what we are told that they are. I think we are heading in the direction of a much brighter world if we dare to embrace the new normalcy.
