Airy Thoughts

Flew home from a quick visit to Philadelphia yesterday evening. Cool airport when it’s completely rebuilt. Crazy many fast food joints though. When is this madness going to stop? I saw people that didn’t look like people anymore; just skeletons holding up hundred of pounds of bouncing flesh.

I got upgraded to First and catered to buy a young Elliot Gould look-and-sound-a-like. He had been flying the friendly skies for 23 years and got his gig down to a T. He had never heard about his resemblance with “The Long Goodbye” star. But we voted in First and everyone agreed: Elliot Gould it is.

He had to help out in coach a few times and once muttered while coming back from handing out water: “Rich people pump their own gas”. It stuck to me in these times of self-entitlement and egomaniacal world. He clarified: People with real wealth and power don’t need to show it. I guess he had run into a me-me-me person.

I agree with the disclaimer if it’s honestly earned money. And the big question is: What is these days? The Goldman Sachs traders that have a license to steal via HAL and front running? The list of perfect crimes is unfortunately long.
